World Fitness Federation of Yoga Sports organises Uttarakhand State Yoga competition

Haridwar(Uttrakhand) [India], April 25: Over 150 players participated in the Uttarakhand State Yoga competition, organised at Hotel Gardenia in Haridwar by the World Fitness Federation of Yoga Sports on April 23.

Ankit Chaprana, President of the World Fitness Federation of Yoga Sports’ Uttarakhand President and the competition organiser, said that players and yoga gurus from all across Uttarakhand participated in the competition. The competition was organised under the guidance of the World Fitness Federation of Yoga’s International President, Shivam Bhadauria and Organising Director, Ritu Rawat.

“We are thankful to all the participants for showcasing their yoga skills and making the competition a huge success. We also congratulate all the winners for their excellent performances,” Mr Chaprana said.

Lakshya Chaudhary, Siya Priyadarshini, Saumya Gautam, Yashika Negi, Raghav Gupta, Akriti Saurabh Singh, Ekta Rawat, Tanisha Chawla, Mamta Bisht, Rakesh Kandwal, Shivani Bisht, and Sarthak Kendal were the winners in different age groups.

Haridwar MLA Madan Kaushik was the chief guest on occasion. Senior BJP leader Vinod Upadhyay and aged Yoga Guru Surendra Kumar were the guests of honour.

Vaishnavi Khanduri was named the Uttarakhand Brand Ambassador of the World Fitness Federation of Yoga for 2023.

World Fitness Federation Yoga is focused on promoting yoga as a fitness activity. It is also developing yoga communities and affiliates yoga schools and teachers globally. It is a part of the World Fitness Federation, an international organisation with a presence in 65+ countries all over the globe. The Federation’s yoga division was launched in the year 2020.
