Indian Ayurveda to go global, Madhavbaug ties up with Easy Ayurveda

India, October 22: As part of its effort to put India’s ancient healthcare system on the global map, Madhavbaug, a specialist in treating cardiac-related ailments through scientific evidence-based Ayurveda therapies has forged a long-term strategic alliance with Easy Ayurveda, an online platform providing the most authentic knowledge on Indian Ayurveda.

The joint venture plans to develop a telemedicine platform for practising Ayurveda doctors by creating their own virtual clinics. The plan is to create 10,000 virtual telemedicine clinics for ayurvedic practitioners across the globe over the next two years. The new venture would also provide quality and curated contents to help promote a better understanding of Ayurveda among both medical practitioners and the general public the world over. The joint venture further plans to launch customised learning courses and skill-building courses for practising doctors.

“Ayurveda is now becoming a global brand due to the several initiatives taken by our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi like International Yoga Day, International Ayurveda Day and several other schemes. It is now our responsibility to make Ayurveda a trustworthy international brand. More amount of knowledge dissemination will create more awareness and trust in the brand,” said Dr Rohit Sane, MD and CEO of Madhavbaug.

The development comes close on the heels of the curtain raiser programme held last week for the upcoming ninth World Ayurveda Congress to be held in Goa, an initiative of the AYUSH ministry to attract global interest in India’s traditional healthcare system.

Easy Ayurveda witnesses about 5 lakh visitors a month on its web platform with half of them from the US, Europe and the Middle East. Madhavbuag, which has established deep roots in India with over 275 healthcare clinics and two hospitals spread across ten states, had recently announced its global expansion plan to set up health centres across UAE, US and Europe. “We are planning to promote our scientific evidence-based Ayurveda therapies for cardiac illness on an international scale. Easy Ayurveda would be the best platform to make ‘preventive cardiology’ through Ayurveda a global brand,” said Dr Rohit Sane.

Commenting on the deal, Dr Janardhana Hebbar, MD, Easy Ayurveda said, “We are an online Ayurvedic education platform with students from both domestic and international markets. We want to take authentic Ayurveda knowledge to the global arena. Madhavbaug with its scientific evidence-based Ayurveda had already established its strong footprint in the Indian subcontinent. We believe that our partnership with Madhavbaug would help us in achieving our objectives”.
